Solid carbide NC spotting drill with cyl. shank, 142°, TiAIN coated

Design: Solid carbide (K10/K20), type N, according to factory standard.
Very sturdy model, profile grinding, right cutting, with precision ground point and narrow cross blade. Without point thinning, with a clear side angle of 12°/30°. Helix angle smaller than normal, core thickness considerably smaller than normal and taper normal. From Ø 6 mm with carrier surface according to DIN 6535-HB.
Ø Tolerance: up to Ø 10 mm = h6,
from Ø 10 mm: cutting tolerance = h8.

Application:
142° – For intervening with the main blade of the following jobber drill.

Particularly suitable for accurate and fast tapping on NC machines and jig boring machines. Used for centring and chamfering thread holes in one step. Only suitable for tapping. Particularly suitable for high strength steels, steel castings, grey cast iron, hard castings, manganese hard steel, CrNi steels, bronzes and light and non-ferrous metals.
